Julianne Clifford

Julianne Clifford lived and worked in Perth, Australia, and
was a member of the AC4CA since 2006, participating in AC4CA group exhibitions in Perth, Sydney, Paris
and Hégenheim.
Clifford initially obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (Library Studies) Degree from Curtin University and worked for many years in the information profession before returning to Curtin University to complete a Bachelor of Arts (Art) Degree in the art school, graduating with First Class Honours in 2008.
Working predominately with drawing, painting and printmedia her practice interrogated Concrete, minimalist and reductive tendencies from a post digital perspective. She was particularly interested in notions of replication, originality and “uncreativity” as examined through the structures and patterns associated with information aesthetics.
